Here is some valuable information and forms you will want to review and download. 

PRIMARY FILING – FEB. 22 TO MARCH 1

Representatives from the Republican Party of Garland County will be available to accept filings and filing fees for County Committee and Republican candidates during the preferential primary filing period between noon on Feb. 22 and noon on March 1.

​

The RPGC Secretary will be present in Room 200 in the Garland County Court House at 501 Ouachita Ave., in Hot Springs, from noon to 5 p.m. on Feb. 22 and from 8 a.m. until noon on March 1. Affidavits for County Committee and candidates must be notarized.

Secretary Jim Keary will also be available to accept notarized paperwork at the RPGC offices at 615 West Grand Ave., Suite 2 on Tuesday, Feb. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For questions, contact Keary at 501-786-9206 or jlkeary@gmail.com.

Garland County candidates for the Republican May 24 primary must file paperwork and pay filing fees with the RPGC before filing with the Garland County Clerk. Filing fees are: County Judge $4,000; County Sheriff $4,000; Circuit Clerk $3,000; County Clerk $3,000; Tax Assessor $3,000; Tax Collector $3,000; Treasurer $3,000; Coroner $1,500; Justice of the Peace $500; Constable $100; RPGC Committeeman/woman $50.

Candidates for state offices must file with the Republican Party of Arkansas.
